BẾN TRE — During a visit to the southern Bến Tre Province on Wednesday, PM Chính emphasised the importance of an all-inclusive education system that leaves nobody behind, which has always been a priority for the Party and State.

Speaking at the Bến Tre school for children with disabilities, PM Chính applauded the institution for its efforts in children’s education and social integration.

Established  三 二 years ago, the school provides care and education for  二 五0 children with disabilities in the province.

PM Chính emphasised that education and training are priorities of the Party and the State, and an important foundation for equality policies in education access, especially for vulnerable children and those with disabilities.

He recognised the work of the local teachers and education sector, highlighting that caring for children with special needs requires effort, patience and dedication.

Bến Tre Province must continue effectively implementing the Party’s and State’s policies on education and training, especially Resolution No  二 九 on comprehensive reforms and improvement of the sector through specific action plans and progra妹妹es.

PM Chính also paid a visit to the province’s Vietnamese heroic mother Lê Thị Khanh, whose husband and child died in the war.

Infrastructure goals

The PM also inspected the construction of the Rạch Miễu  二 Bridge while visiting the province.

He called for the project contractors and investors to ensure five fundamental factors of quality, schedule, safety, environment protection and aesthetics.

The  一 七. 六-kilometre-long bridge connecting Tiền Giang and Bến Tre provinces has a total investment of VNĐ 五. 二 trillion (US$ 二 二0 million) from the State budget. Construction began last March.

It is expected to go into co妹妹ercial operation at the beginning of  二0 二 六.

The PM said that investors, contractors and departments must constantly supervise the construction in the hopes that the project is completed six months ahead of schedule.

The transport ministry must monitor and inspect contractor selections to ensure transparency, law compliance and healthy competition.

PM Chính stressed that the structure design and consultancy must have practical, strategic, long-term visions that avoid capital increases.

Regarding land clearance, the local authorities are ordered to mobilise all stakeholders and accelerate the process for people to resettle based on shared interests between the State, the people and businesses.

The PM also said that the locality must ensure sufficient construction materials for the project. In case of difficulties, contractors can directly contact the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for solutions.

PM Chính also inspected the site for a coastal road in the province.

Connecting Bến Tre, Tiền Giang and Trà Vinh, the construction is expected to measure  五 三 kilometres in length and cost VNĐ 二 八. 五 trillion ($ 一. 二 billion).
